The student
• deepens their knowledge of lighting design and will be able to design public space lighting for different user needs, which can be controlled for changing situations
• is able to select and design luminaires and make lighting calculations using a calculation program
• is able to create 3D models of lighting and luminaires and prepare design documents

Opintojakson osaamistavoitteet
Opiskelija syventää valaistussuunnittelun osaamista ja osaa suunnitella erilaisten käyttäjien tarpeita, arkkitehtuuria ja hyvinvointia tukevan julkisen tilan valaistuksen. Opiskelija osaa suunnittelussa huomioida luonnonvalon mukaiset värilämpötilat ja valon voimakkuuden sirkadiaanisen rytmin mukaan, jota voidaan ohjata muuntuviin tilanteisiin. Opiskelija osaa valita ja suunnitella valaisimet sekä tehdä valaistuslaskelmat laskentaohjelmalla. Opiskelija osaa 3D -mallintaa valaistuksen ja valaisimet ja laatia suunnitteluasiakirjat. Opiskelija osaa esittää ammattimaisesti harjoitustyönä tehtävän valaistussuunnitelman.
