Objective

After completing the course, the students are able to:
• perceive the research and the development methods applicable to research in the clothing industry.
• plan a research process for implementing their thesis.
• interpret and analyze various statistics and research materials.
• use the general software and applications for research: graphic presentations and electronic forms.
• follow good scientific research conduct and ethical recommendations.
• understand the importance and responsibility of research in the development of working life and organizations.
• understand the requirements of a thesis in a university of applied sciences and is able to identify a high quality thesis.
• start their own thesis process.

Content

Research in the clothing sector and typical development areas in clothing companies. Research methods specific to the clothing industry. Identifying a high quality thesis. Preliminary research plan and preparation for seminars. Practicing the use of software suitable for research.
