Objective

The student
• becomes familiar with lighting design combined with natural and artificial light
• is able to create a wide range of atmospheres, emphasise spatial features and improve usability with lighting fixtures
• learns the principles of lighting technology and is able to design lighting for home interiors
• is able to apply the principles of lighting design for a lighting concept and draft documentation for the lighting design.

The student
• has partially achieved the objectives of the course
• understands the whole related to lighting design with its components and knows their significance as part of the quality of the final design work
• is able to take into account different aspects of lighting design in their work
• has successfully completed the tasks.

• has achieved the objectives of the course well
• understands the whole related to lighting design with its components and knows the importance of the components as part of the quality of the final design work
• is able to use and apply different aspects of lighting design in their own work
• has successfully completed the course assignments and is able to apply what they have learnt in carrying them out.

• masters the whole related to lighting design with its associated components and understands their significance as part of the quality of the final design work
