Objective

The students get acquainted with the work environment and professional roles of their professional field from the point of view of an expert in the field of live performance engineering, and apply their multidisciplinary competencies in live performance engineering in work activities. They work in a working community iand its various interactive situations in a professional manner. The students can work in multicultural working communities and customer environments. They are able to create personal work life connections and participate in networks. They are able to make decisions in unanticipated situations. They can assess and develop their competencies in relation to the requirements of work life. They are able to take responsibilty of their own actions and its consequences, and assess the effects of their own actions. The are able to take into account the effects and possibilities of the global developments and phenomena in their own professional field. They are able to report and document work processes.

Internship in a job related to own professional field. A report and/or a presentation of the internship.

Requirement for accepted internship is a final report and/or a presentation of the internship. Report / presentation demonstrates the professional growth of the students during the internship, as well as ability to assess critically their own activities as professionals in the field of live performance engineering.

Further information

The internship consists of one or two periods. 15 credit internships equals about 2,5 months full time work cycle at the place of internship. By default, the students find the internship places themselves. More information at the degree programme internship guide.
