Objective

After the course the student has the knowledge of:
- Execution quality and authority requirements of concrete structures both in-situ and pre-cast element construction
- Execution of pre-cast elements and installation
- Concrete structures and controlling of drying and shrinkage
- Concrete works (in-situ) design and management
- Concreting plan preparation and execution records
- Concrete floors; concreting and quality requirements
- Surface finish requirements and factors affecting the surface finish quality
- Concreting with special methods
- Controlling of special concretes
- Management of concrete works on structure class 2

- Concrete type selection based on structure and conditions (environment, weather)
- Formwork technology
- Concreting in cold weather; required actions
