Objective
After completing the course, the students are able to:
• recognize the quality and safety of children's clothing, taking into account the child's developmental stages.
• recognize and consider the safety of children’s clothing based on legislation and standards.
• utilize the safety standards of children's clothing in manufacture and production.
• take into account the child's physical and motoric development in pattern making and sizing.
• describe children's growth phases and clothing size systems.
• recognize the dimensions of the child's body and utilize sizing charts in sizing and pattern making.
• draw up sizing and instructions for children’s swear for outsourced manufacturing.

Safety standards for children's clothing. Children's growth phases, body dimensions, standardized tables. Pattern making and grading, sizing and production instructions for children's clothing.
