Objective
Student knows the components in a modern vehicle equipped with an electric powertrain, key component specifications and the relationship between components and vehicle key figures: range, environmental factors and vehicle manufacturing costs.
Student knows different battery- and electric motor techniques, charge standards and practical examples of production vehicle applications. Student knows electric vehicle strengths and weaknesses compared to other powertrain solutions including environmental and social points of view.

3. Electric vehicle energy storage solutions and batteries
4. Electric vehicle charging systems and -standards
