Objective

The student learns basic skills and understanding of mathematics that are needed to understand phenomena of physics and chemistry and technical applications.

Content

1. Understanding of equations and functions is deepened and utilized in various applications
2. Concept of derivative is introduced and used in engineering applications
3. Basic ideas of analytic geometry

The student identifies the basic concepts of the course and is able to solve simple problems related to them.
