Objective

The student is able to choose the right materials for construction. The student knows the most common materials and the influence of heat treatment, alloying and coating. The student understands the essential techniques of sheet work and welding and is able to choose suitable methods for different products and situations.

1. Thinking the construction, choosing the right material, heat treatment, alloying, surface treatment, corrosion concern and knowledge about these effects to material properties
