Objective

On completion of the course the student will be familiar with the causes and effects of the technical and economical factors related to real estate management. The course deals with organizing the use and maintenance issues of a real estate, and the possibilities of technical management in producing efficient and client-friendly real estate maintenance services.

Content

Tasks in technical management, the nomenclatures, terminology and concepts in real estate business, and the organization of real estate work, the life cycle of a real estate and the possibilities of property management to affect the life cycle, condition assessments, planning renovation and a long term repair plan, controlling the energy consumption and maintenance of real estate and calculating the profitability of energy consumption, security, building automation and its full utilization, maintenance manual as a basic tool of the whole property, computer software for completing the assignment
