Objective

The main purpose with the course is to deepen the student´s knowledge about the field of operation of the degree program.
Students become acquainted with one or more product groups, their characteristics and the manufacturing process of the product by making a project work. Sensor technology is included in the project.

The student is able to communicate as an expert in different research and development tasks and environments. They are able to retrieve and evaluate information critically and use it purposefully. The student knows the good practices of oral and written communication and is able to apply them appropriately.

1. Getting to know the topic
2. Draw up a project plan and obtain the necessary materials and tools
3. Experimental part
4. Determining the uncertainty of measurements
5. Reporting and presentation of the project
6. Presentation skills, speaking and giving feedback
7. Communication in projects and research and development tasks
