Objective

Student has abilities to work in management positions in the media branch. The student is able to evaluate her strengths and weaknesses and utilise her self-knowledge in managing a team or unit. The student is familiar with the essentials of management and leadership and is able to evaluate the effects of her actions in a work community. The student has knowledge of the leadership methods affecting the dynamics of a work community and is able to develop their communication skills.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student demonstrates knowledge of some theories, principles and tools of management and leadership and is able to utilise them in practice. The student is aware of the strengths and targets of development in their own management and leadership skills.

The student demonstrates versatile knowledge of theories, principles and tools of management and leadership and is able to apply and adapt them in practice. The student is able to reflect and develop their own management and leadership skills.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student demonstrates comprehensive and deep knowledge of theories, principles and tools of management and leadership and is able to apply and adapt them in practice in a creative way. The student is able to reflect and develop their own management and leadership skills in a target-oriented manner.
