Exam dates and retake possibilities

· Please follow notifications (email), schedule changes are possible.

· Exam date will be announced at the orientation lesson.
· Retake can be tried twice on pre-scheduled times. In case of failing both retakes the course has to be repeated. Elevating grade can be tried once in next possible retake. Enrollment to retake is always done with the name of teacher responsible for the course. Instructions how to enroll for retake are found in OMA.

Student workload

· 1 cr = 27

· Total number of hours on course is 135 h, of which contact teaching 15 hours (theory lessons) labs 18 hours, independent study 102 h (skill stations, assignments).

Content scheduling

Further information for students

· It's mandatory to participate in the orientation lesson. In case of being absent from either orientation or other classes, the student finds out about the contents of previous classes from the fellow students or Moodle.

· Theory lessons that include study assignments require attendance.

· Absence from the theory lesson must be replaced by doing a mind map about the content of the theory lesson and showing/sending the mind map to the teacher before the lab.

· Clinical laboratories are of compulsory attendance and students are required to wear appropriate protective uniforms. Instructions given in the asepsis lecture are being followed during practicing.

· The contents, assignments and evaluation in the course support the student in achieveing competence required in core competencies in National final exam of nursing (YleSH180op).
