Assessing Occupational Performance 2 (5 cr)

Objective

Learning outcomes:
The students apply the theories of occupational therapy and plan the assessment process from the perspective of the individual's everyday life and participation. The students know the difference between skills and abilities. The students choose a suitable frame of reference and assessment methods to gather information and describe the client's everyday life and occupational performance in different environments. The students understand the differences and meaning of the gained information in different assessment environments. The students relate the gained information to the multidisciplinary assessment information. The students report the results of the assessment in writing and orally.

Teaching methods

Itsenäinen opiskelu verkkomateriaalien avulla, arviointimenetelmien koettelu ja ohjatut harjoitukset yksilöllisesti / pareittain / pienryhmissä kontaktiopetuksessa sekä työelämäyhteistyössä.

Osa toteutuksesta tehdään työelämäyhteistyössä.

Lasten toiminnallisuuden arviointiin liittyviä harjoituksia tehdään yhteistyössä Pilke-päiväkotien kanssa (tai muu itse valittu pk), lisätietoa yhteistyöhön liittyen lähetetään ennen opintojakson alkua OMA:n työtilan kautta. Päiväkodissa toteutettava lasten toiminnallisuuden arvioinnin oppimistehtävä toteutetaan pareittain ja jokainen opiskelijapari hakee itse päiväkodin yhteistyökumppaniksi. Oppimistehtävä sisältää vähintään kaksi (2) päiväkotikäyntiä, jotka on mahdollista toteuttaa ajalla 21.8.-1.9.2023

Student workload

5 op = 135t opiskelijan työtä, josta 16 t lähiopetusta ja 14t reaaliaikaista etäopetusta, muut tunnit käytettävissä itsenäiseen opiskeluun, päiväkotikäynteihin ja oppimistehtävän työstämiseen.
