Objective

-analyze and implement oral health care for patients of different ages at the Metropolia’s oral health care (oral hygiene) teaching clinic
- are able to take into account the psychological and social factors of the patient when planning a treatment, implementing treatment and planning maintenance care
- are able to document the course of patient care into the patient information system

The student confirms his/her participation in the course by being present at the beginning of the first lesson or by agreeing on it with the teacher in other ways before the course starts.

Earlier clinical studies in teaching clinic and in skills lab must be accomplished.
Compulsory attendance in Clinic. Orientation to the clinical studies is obligatory.
Approved course requires active presence and attendance.
Clinical pair will change in every term by drewing lots.
Students responsibility is to take care of her/his own accomplishments and replace the absence from the clinical training.
The acceleration of studies requires grade H3 of earlier courses.
