Objective
The students
-know how to set modality-specific learning targets for training, suited to their personal skill level
-are able to describe, self-evaluate and develop their skills and learning
-are able to interact with and guide patients in different interaction situations on the patients' terms
-are able to prepare patients for an imaging examination or intervention
-know how to go about imaging examinations safely, and apply their expertise in them
-are able to take patient safety into account and analyse their own actions
-are able to justify and describe any decision made
-are able to operate as members of a work community
-understand the principles of operational planning of an X-ray unit
-deepen their understanding of evidence-based radiography as part of quality management

Location and time
Clinical placement is performed in autumn 2023 in different learning environments. Student must follow the instructions of degree program concerning the clinical placement.
Learning tasks must be returned by the deadline.
The course is not evaluated if the assignments are returned after the deadline. Deadlines given in the Moodle workspace.

Teaching methods
Course of study consist of:
- Clinical placement 4,5 ects (3 weeks)
- Assignment in Moodle 0,5 ects

Clinical placement in different units.

Clinical placement can not be performed in optional way
Moodle-assignements are mandatory. They can not be performed in optional way.
Student workload
One week in clinical placement is 40 hours.
Assignment requires independent work (0,5 ects equals 13,5 hours).
