Objective
Students are able to make use of the diagnostic skills and treatments that they have learnt when working with clients and they consolidate their competence while treating different client groups. Students are familiar with the organisation of their own work placement site.
Students are able to carry out counselling in foot self-care for diabetic clients in a client-oriented manner and they are able to treat and examine diabetic clients’ foot problems with an instructor’s supervision. Students know how to perform a diabetic client’s risk classification. Students are capable of making use of their competence when working in multidisciplinary teams, where possible.
