Objective

Students can describe main mental health disorders and their underlying factors. Students are able to form and develop a therapeutic relationship with clients based on interaction. The student can describe the methods used in the identification of mobility and body awareness and methods of physiotherapy that promote mobility and body awareness. The student knows how to promote and support the client’s
participation and physical activity behaviour in different environments. The student can combine the psychomotor approach to the planning, guidance and assessment of mobility. The student understands the importance of adapted physical activity as well as the special features of guidance skills in mental health work. The student can assess the important of their own activities in the success of a guidance situation.

Promoting mobility and body awareness in physiotherapy
Psychomotor approach in applied physical activity

Student knows the basics of assessment and promotion of functioning in physiotherapy. Student knows the basics of body functions and structures. Students can describe the basics of developmental psychology and psychophysical physiotherapy.
