Objective

Objectives of the course:
- Better understanding of how the roles and responsibilities of a manager and an expert differ in practice
- A better understanding of how co-operation works on site.
- Identify different communication styles and strengths in yourself and others

At the end of the period, the student is expected to at least be able to and know:
- Identify the what the role and assignment of an expert and a manager is on the construction site
- Identify your strengths in your work environment
- The basics of Leadership Communication
- The basics of Time Management

Content

The course combines important leadership topics and Peab's work experience. During the course, students gain access to today's working life and leadership skills. Each participant gets a personal profile to learn how to identify their own strengths. As visiting lecturers Peab's employees share their work and career paths in the company.

Contents:
1. Manager or expert – different dimensions of leadership
2. Differences in people – me and others at the construction site
3. Challenging leadership situations – When things do not work at the construction site
4. Time management – when I do not have enough time for everything
5. The possibilities of leadership and expert work and roles
6. Interactive Orchidea workshop around a topical theme in the construction industry
7. Leadership in the future
