- Physical, social and digital learning environments
- Student services
- Rules and regulations for studying at the University of Applied Sciences
- Library services and the basics of information search
- Curriculum and planning the studies (AHOT, HOPS)
- Principles and methods of learning in the degree programme
- Key digital tools and information systems used in learning and working in the degree program
- Recognizing study related strengths and needs for development
- Basics of data protection and security
- Competence produced by the degree programme and work life possibilities

Teaching methods

Tämä toteutus on tarkoitettu vain sosiaalialan tutkinto-ohjelman syksyllä 2022 aloittavan saapumisryhmän SXH22S1 opiskelijoille. Opintojaksolla on käytössä useita työmuotoja, mm. luentoja, ryhmätöitä, itsenäisiä tehtäviä.

Location and time

Opintojakso toteutetaan lähiopetuksena Metropolian Myllypuron kampuksella 23.8. - 23.10.2022 välisenä aikana.

Opintojaksolla ei ole erikseen määriteltyä kirjallisuutta, tarvittava oppimateoiaali ilmoitetaan opintojakson aikana.

Student workload

Opintojakson on laajudeltaan 5 op, joka tarkoittaa 5 x 27 eli yhteensä 135 tuntia opiskelijan työnä. Ammattikorkeakoulussa 1 opintopiste (=op) tarkoittaa siis 27 tuntia opiskelijan työtä. Opintojakso koostuu kahdesta osa-suorituksesta:
1) Orientaatio opintoihin ja sosiaalialalle, 3 op - opettajina Soile Bergström ja Päivi Eskelinen-Roos
2) Digitaaliset järjestelmät, 2 op - opettajana Jukka Törnroos
