Objective
The student is able to analyse and develop their professional skills as a music educator, and develop continuing professional development methods as a vital part of their professional landscape. They can utilize theoretical, practical and experiential information in their professional practice. They can develop new professional practices and applications by utilizing different aspects of their interests, skills and inspirations as a music educator. They give active and constructive contributions to relevant networks as well as professional interactions and communications.
Content
Thoughts and concepts underpinning music teaching and learning and community arts, reflecting on one’s own pedagogical perspectives, recognizing own strengths and working life, analysing challenging teaching situations, searching for information on pedagogical questions related to own skill set, emotional interaction in learning music and group activities, development of community music practices, planning and implementing teaching situations, individual and group reflection.

They know how to create collaborative learning environments where every participant can feel accepted and valuable. They can utilize a reflective approach to their own professional development, and network with the working life.
