    Visual Communication Design – Motion Graphics

Objective

The student becomes acquainted with the production techniques and concepts of motion graphics, animation, and film effects. One understands the workflows, special requirements, limitations, and possibilities of different production methods. The student knows the phases of a customer-oriented project and is able to produce visual material to communicate ideas, and is able to implement and publish a project using professional software.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to identify different production methods of animation and film effects and is familiar with related terminology. One knows the workflow of a customer-oriented project, the main phases of the design process and their goals. The student is able to implement a small project at a satisfactory level and is able to produce publication formats for different uses from his project.

The student knows different production methods of animation and film effects in practice and is familiar with the terminology. One knows the workflow of a customer-oriented project, the main phases of the design process and understands their goals. The student is able to implement a small production project at a good level and solves problems independently. He is familiar with the characteristics of different publishing environments from a video production perspective.

The student is able to implement a small production project at high visual standards and solves problems independently.
