Objective
Upon completion of the course, the students will know how to:
- Act ethically and assess the implementation of the ethical principles and equality in diverse care of older people
-Analyse the social status of older people in different life situations as ones in need of service and as service users.
- Critically examine the changes and development needs in care policies and services from both national and international perspectives
- View the possibilities and challenges of ethical and moral management

- define the effects of national and international ageing and care policies and their significance from the perspective of the older people

- analyse and apply gerontological client competence, the ethical principles of care of older people, and equality in diverse elderly care in their own action
- analyse and justify the societal and global effects of national and international ageing and care policies and their significance from the perspective of older people

- analyse and apply the ethical principles of care of older people and equality in their actions and management

The students know how to:
- critically evaluate their gerontological client competence, the implementation of ethical principles of care of older people and equality in diverse elderly care
- critically evaluate the effects of national and international societal and global effects of ageing and care policies and their significance from the perspective of older people
- innovatively influence the social status of the older people through different means
- critically evaluate the implementation of the ethical principles of care of older people and equality in their own practice and management
