Learning outcomes
The culmination of the undergraduate experience, the Bachelor's Thesis is the opportunity for the student to demonstrate the following:
• Expert knowledge of the topic under investigation
• Mastery of data collection and analytical skills
• Application and testing of theory against the evidence
• Ability to construct a detailed, coherent and persuasive well-reasoned argument
• Ability to present information in an attractive and accessible manner
• Proficiency in written English
Content
The Bachelor's Thesis should contain the following elements:
• Literature review
• Methodological discussion
• Data collection and analysis
• Conclusions that are consistent with the evidence presented
• Appropriate use of bibliographic and citation conventions

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Sufficient performance:
showing just enough understanding of the subject to merit a pass grade but requiring greater effort to achieve a more satisfactory result
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Good performance:
showing strong understanding of basic concepts and good grasp of techniques, but with certain minor problems still requiring further attention
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Excellent performance:
not only fulfils all standard requirements but demonstrates originality and imagination
