Objective

The student is able to identify the main movements and the development of the European art. The student is able to gather information on art and visual culture and can analyze and critically evaluate this information. The student understands the relation and the interaction between the past and the contemporary art and visual culture. The student knows the main movements of the history of visual culture of media.

Content

- The main movements and actors of the European art
- The relation of art to the history of social phenomena and the general history of culture and ideas
- The history and development of visual media
