Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Students have acceptable participation in class and complete the assignments to a satisfactory standard. They recognize the elements of an audiovisual production process. They have a basic understanding of the breakdown of a script from an artistic and production point of view, and are able to assign time and funding resources to the project in a satisfactory manner. They are acquainted with the packaging and pitching, cost structure, financing plan and cost management principles of a production. They have a satisfactory knowledge of domestic public investors and recognize some funding channels. They know some distribution channels for audiovisual productions and understand the significance of marketing in the distribution of audiovisual productions. They recognize some management models. They are able to describe their professional identity.

Students actively participate in class and complete the assignments to a good standard. They are well familiar with the phases of an audiovisual production process. They master the breakdown of a script from an artistic and production point of view, and are able independently to assign time and funding resources to the project based on the breakdown. They can do variations of the production plan for different productions. They are familiar with the packaging and pitching, cost structure, financing plan and cost management principles of a production. They have a good knowledge of domestic public investors and of various alternative funding channels. They have a versatile knowledge of distribution channels for audiovisual productions and understand the significance of marketing in the distribution of audiovisual productions. They are familiar with various management models. They are able to apply their learned skills in developing their professional identity.
