Objective
The student knows the design and manufacturing methods of tools and knows the materials used in tools. The student is able to use fasteners and modular tool holders in cutting machining. The student knows the palette systems in cutting machines and assembly machines. The student knows the manufacturing methods and tools used in the metal sheet industry. The student is familiar with casting methods and molds, and their manufacturing. The student also knows the principle of forging and forged molds and their design. The student knows the manufacturing methods of plastics and the molds and tools used in them. The student is familiar with the additive manufacturing methods and the possibilities they offer in the manufacture of prototypes, tools and products.
Content
