Objective
On completion of the course the student can take into account relevant regulations when interpreting drawings and work specifications and when planning the different phases of construction work.
Content
Regulations related to construction
Labour legislation (e.g. working hours and work contracts) and the most important EU regulations and their applications in construction work
The application of regulations and taking them into account in construction work (e.g. regulations related to masonry)

Further information
The course also aims at improving communication skills, therefore students will write summaries of relevant material, give presentations and write reports.
The course has a tight connection to the Innovation project. The aim is to develop the students' communication skills for the Innovation project and also prepare them for the Bachelor's thesis.
