Objective

The student will be able to reduce force, torque and moment of inertia over various mechanisms.
The student will be familiar with and able to design and size different drives.
The student will be familiar with various mechanisms and able to analyse them with simulations.
The student will be able to specify the equipment necessary for the proper function of a machine, and take the requirements of the equipment into account.

Content

1. Reducing the force, torque and moment of inertia over various mechanisms
2. Design and sizing of drives
3. Components for mechanizing, and their choice and dimensioning.
4. Various mechanisms and their simulations.
5. Equipment necessary for proper function, and the placing of the equipment.

Evaluation scale

0-5
