Study Guide

Objective

Students will report and finalise their bachelor’s thesis. They will be able to describe and evaluate their entire bachelor’s thesis process. They will know how to share about their bachelor’s thesis to their chosen target group and demonstrate their competence in the community of experts in both Finnish and English.

Group meetings as scheduled.

Materials

Research Methodology Literature.

Teaching methods

The student finishes the thesis, writes a maturity test of the work and keeps a presentation in the degree's general day of presentation.
The content of the maturity test is checked by instructors and language by the native language teacher.
The English abstract is adopted by the teacher of the English language.
The student delivers an abstract to the designated teacher.
The student uploads the thesis to Theseus after the date of publication (the date of presentation of the degree).
The student returns to the tutor a paper containing the listening times of earlier thesis (30) during studies.

Student's work 5 ECTS = 135 h

If the student has individualized educational support arrangements, shall this student contact the teacher of the course immediately after the end of the registration period (or latest before the start of the course.)

It is not allowed to use or distribute any tasks, assignments or MATERIALS in any other way than in student's own studies. Distributing ONLY with teacher's personal permission.

Student is able to:
- Apply professional knowledge in the field appropriately
- Use concepts and information in his field systematically
- Argue a course of action on the basis of research information and findings
- Find information and argue the use of his sources
- Work in various duties depending on the assignment
- Define the principles of and requirements for his actions
- Show that he has achieved the targets for core competence
- Find out the safety instructions concerning a word assignments and to act accordingly
- Act according to the relevant professional ethical principles
- Plan and guide the operation of multidisciplinary groups
- Communicate about professional issues
