Learning outcomes

-analyze and implement oral health care for patients of different ages at the Metropolia’s oral hygiene teaching clinic
- are able to take into account the psychological and social factors of the patient when planning a treatment, implementing treatment and planning maintenance care
- recognize the need for pain relief and is able to use topical and local anesthetics
- are able to document the course of patient care into the patient information system

Earlier clinical studies in the Metropolia's Wellbeing and Health Village and Dentistry II must be accomplished.

To accelerate the studies, you need a grade H3 for the previous courses.

Approved course requires active presence and attendance in all parts of the course.
Students responsibility is to take care of her/his own accomplishments and replace the absence from the clinical training.
