Objective

After completing the course, the student will:
• recognize the uses of artificial intelligence and its potential ethical challenges
• understand the basic functionality of a computer at both hardware and software levels
• understand the basic operation of computer networks
• understand network security and be able to list different types of network attacks and some protection methods
• be familiar with data protection legislation and be able to assess the reliability of information
• understand the purposes and basic functions of different types of databases
• be familiar with the core content of their chosen specialization (electronics technician, wellness technology technician, IT support specialist, software developer, network technician)
