Objective
After completing the course, the student will:
• Understand how the world of work is changing and why it is important to keep track of skills needs.
• Be able to search for information about the skills needs of working life and to reflect their own skills on them.
• Can comminicate their existing skills in a way that appeals to potential employers.
• Set long-term and short-term career goals and progress in a planned way.
• Can think of different routes to complement their own competences

Qualifications
Course is suitable for everyone, regardless of their field and educational background. Before taking this course, it is recommended that students have completed the course: Identify your skills and build your own skills profile or have otherwise had a comprehensive understanding of their own skills and strengths.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The course is assessed on a pass/fail basis.
Successful completion of the course requires completing review assignments in sections 1-4, submitting reflections on one's learning, and providing course feedback.
Further information
Each of the five sections of the course include informational content, examples and various exercises where students reflect on their skills from different perspectives. The course can be completed at the student's own pace and to the depth they find necessary.
