Objective
Upon completion of the course student
- will be able to develop their strengths and skills as professionals and to recognise their development needs
- is familiar with how Finnish job market works and has knowledge of different job search channels
- knows how to write a job application, write a convincing CV, and prepare for job interview situations

- develops in interaction and communication skills

This course is aimed for one that has immigration background and speaks Finnish in B1-level. Teaching in slow, plain Finnish (called selkosuomi). Lectures are at the day-time and requires active participation. Course requires a lot of time used outside the classroom. Studying requires accounting skills, previous education or work experience.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The student has achieved the course objectives fairly. The student will be able to identify, define and use the course subject area’s concepts and models. The student understands the criteria and principles of the expertise development.
