Objective
After completing the course, the student will recognise the guidance needs of a new student and be able to advise the new student on how to proceed. The student will be able to guide and support the grouping of new students and the formation of social relationships. The student will be able to organise activities with new students and other tutors. The student is able to promote equality and equity at Metropolia through his/her own activities. The student knows the services and electronic environments offered by Metropolia and can advise new students on how to use them. The student is able to evaluate his/her own activities as a tutor.

Objective
Opintojakson suoritettuaan opiskelija tunnistaa uuden opiskelijan ohjaustarpeet ja osaa neuvoa uutta opiskelijaa tarvittaessa eteenpäin. Opiskelija osaa ohjata ja tukea uusien opiskelijoiden ryhmäytymistä sekä sosiaalisten suhteiden muodostumista. Opiskelija osaa organisoida toimintaa uusien opiskelijoiden sekä muiden tutorien kanssa. Opiskelija osaa omalla toiminnallaan edistää yhdenvertaisuutta ja tasa-arvoa Metropoliassa. Opiskelija tuntee Metropolian tarjoamat palvelut sekä sähköiset ympäristöt ja osaa neuvoa uusia opiskelijoita näiden käyttämisessä. Opiskelija osaa arvioida omaa toimintaansa tutorina.
