Objective
The students are able to create XR applications for various platforms using game engines. They are aware of the opportunities and limitations of different XR technologies and ecosystems and are familiar with the future prospects of the industry.
Content
The students get acquainted with different XR technologies and environments through a project. During the course, the students will design and produce XR applications utilizing and supplementing previously acquired knowledge and skills.
- XR application design process: ideation, scheduling, project management, resourcing, and implementation
- Knowledge of XR technology
- Further development of 3D modelling skills
- Further development of game engine skills
Qualifications
The students must have completed the course 3D Graphics, Polygon Modelling and Animation and Real-time development platforms 1.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student knows the basics of implementing XR applications on different platforms using game engines and industry software. Is familiar with the possibilities and limitations of different XR technologies and ecosystems. Has ideated and worked on his/her own XR project.

Implements XR applications on different platforms using game engines and industry software. Is familiar with the possibilities and limitations of different XR technologies and ecosystems and with the future prospects of the field. Has ideated and implemented his/her own XR project in schedule.
