Objective
During completion of this course the student learns the significance of natural phenomena in ICT in a comprehensive way. The student learns to model some typical phenomena in this field, to analyze measurement data and to use basic measurement devices and software.

- contemporary applications in the field of ICT;
- laboratory exercises related to the course contents;
- collection, management, and analysis of data;
- laboratory equipment and experimental laboratory techniques

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student is familiar with the basic concepts of ICT . He/she understands the basic phenomena in the field. He knows how to solve simple problems related to electricity.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Besides the above, the student is capable of applying the fundamental laws of ICT in less simple problems. He knows how to explain the basic phenomena.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
In addition to the aforementioned requirements the student is also capable of solving more challenging problems that require applying the concepts and methods of various different topics simultaneously. He is also capable of dealing with novel problems that significantly differ from the ones examined during the course. Furthermore, the student is capable of presenting the solutions to the problems in a logical and coherent manner, thus demonstrating that he/she has a deeper understanding on the contents of the course.
