Objective

Upon completion of the course, the student can identify the themes of sustainable development in live performance technology. They recognise the need for social and ecological development in both the technical-artistic environment and their own work. The student understands the concepts of economic and cultural sustainability in a sustainable organisation. They can apply social sustainability responsibilities in the workplace and acquire information on sustainable development solutions in live performance technology.

The course explores sustainability challenges in the live performance, theatre, and events sector. The course develops the student's sustainable working practices and focuses on practical actions for advancing ecological and social sustainability within a technical-artistic environment.

• Ecological, social, economic and cultural sustainability
• Application of non-discrimination, equality and labour legislation in the live performance technology environment
• Sustainable social and ecological approaches to performance technologies

Qualifications

KM00GI16 Safety in Performing Arts Environment (5 ECTS) or equivalent knowledge and skills.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student identifies the social and ecological development needs of a technical-artistic environment. They recognise the significance of cultural and economic sustainability in the live performance technology sector. The student is able to acquire and apply information on sustainable solutions in live performance technology to some extent. The student recognises the responsibilities of promoting social sustainability within the work community.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student can identify, recognise, and/or develop the social and ecological development needs of a technical-artistic environment. They understand the significance of economic sustainability as part of the ongoing development of the live performance technology industry. The student is aware of the significance of cultural sustainability in this sector. The student is capable of acquiring and applying information on sustainable solutions in live performance technology. They can recognise and apply the responsibilities of promoting social sustainability within the work community.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student can independently identify, recognise, and develop the social and ecological development needs of a technical-artistic environment. They have an in-depth understanding of the significance of economic sustainability and can apply this knowledge as part of the ongoing development of the live performance technology industry. The student is aware of and promotes the significance of cultural sustainability in this sector. The student has independently produced information on sustainable solutions in live performance technology. The student recognises and applies the responsibilities of promoting social sustainability within the work community.
