Objective

The student can analyse their competency needs and plan their professional development. They systematically develop their wide-ranging knowledge of live performance and theatre technology. The student becomes familiar with the areas of competence that strengthen, complement and support their own professional competence and is able to apply what they have learned in a technical-artistic production process. The student is increasingly able to utilise technology relevant to their area of expertise and to recognise the impact of technological advancements on the field of live performance and theatre technology.

Content

The course consists of self-assessment, career guidance and workshops to support the development of professional skills in live performance and theatre technology.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is familiar with areas of expertise that complement or support their professional skills.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to assess their skills and develop them through relevant supplementary studies. They have broadened and deepened their expertise by exploring areas that complement or support their skills and can apply this knowledge in their professional field.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to assess their skills and develop them through relevant supplementary studies. They have broadened and deepened their expertise by thoroughly and comprehensively exploring areas that complement or support their skills. The student competently applies this knowledge in their professional field.

The student is familiar with areas of expertise that complement or support their professional skills.

Further information

The student and the study councelor agree on the supplementary studies in curriculum discussions. Precise learning outcomes and evaluation criteria are defined according to courses chosen. Possible contents of the Advanced Workshops in addition to advanced studies may consist of studies in electric engineering, technical planning and production, mathematics or physics, or software and information networks.
