Objective
The student is able to work in event production in technical tasks and understands the roles and working practices of the profession. They are familiar with the stages of the event production process and are familiar with the event technology working environment and organisation from a live performance technology perspective. The student understands the significance of different professional roles in event production.
The student understands the principles of operation of sound, lighting, and video systems in event technology and is able to document and present the functioning of these systems. They understand and can report on the activities of the work community in terms of resourcing and organisation. The student can assess their own ability to work as part of an event technology team. They are also able to assess the safety and sustainability aspects of events.

Qualifications
KM00GI16 Safety in Performing Arts Environment (5 ECTS) and ja KM00GI20 Lighting Engineering (5 ECTS) and KM00GI21 Sound Engineering (5 ECTS) and KM00GI22 Video Technology (5 ECTS) or equivalent knowledge and skills.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student is able to work safely as part of a team in technical roles at events. They can present the technical event production process and the professional teams primarily working in events in general terms. The student can document and present performance technology systems. The student understands the role of performance and theatre technology in the event sector. The student reflects on their contributions within a work community and their collaboration skills.
