-discuss, explain, and undertake examinations and management of patients wanting to undergo or who have undergone refractive surgery
-understand, know and explain following issues related to refractive surgery:

pre- and post-operative assessment

Qualifications

The prerequisite for this course is the successful completion of a valid course of study in accordance with the curriculum in force, where the student has demonstrated sufficient knowledge and skills in the following subjects: General and ocular pathology and pharmacology, clinical optometry and investigative techniques.

The prerequisites are fulfilled when the student has passed the following courses: General Pharmacology, Ocular Pharmacology, Pathology 1, Pathology 2 and Clinical Optometry and Investigative Techniques .
