Objective

Upon completing the course, the student can apply the fundamentals of visual communication to support their messaging. They are able to justify the significance of visual communication as part of their studies and professional tasks. The student can use common visual design software to the extent required in cultural production work. They understand the requirements of different communication channels for visual content and technical quality. The student can create and commission visual content in alignment with communication goals. They are also capable of collaborating with visual designers and printing houses and managing processes related to visual communication.

- Managing visual communication processes
- Collaboration with visual design professionals, printing house coordination, and pricing
- Key tools and software for visual communication at a level required for cultural production work

The student can justify the significance of visual communication at a general level. They apply the basics of visual communication to support their messaging, focusing on simple solutions. The student has limited proficiency in using visual design software. They recognize the basic requirements of different communication channels and strive to take them into account. The student aims to consider communication objectives, audience needs, and channel requirements in their visual communication. They are familiar with the fundamental aspects of visual communication processes.
