Objective
Upon completing the course, the student can plan and coordinate event site and venue arrangements. They are able to identify subcontracting needs for an event and understand the stages of the procurement process. The student can also plan ticket sales for an event.

The student recognizes the basic principles of event site and venue arrangements, including the significance of logistical solutions. They understand the stages of subcontracting and the procurement process, such as creating requests for proposals and the basic structure of contracts. The student understands the fundamental elements of ticket sales processes, including the selection of sales channels and the basics of pricing.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student can plan and apply site and venue arrangements effectively, considering logistical needs and the specific characteristics of the event. They can apply knowledge to identify subcontracting needs, draft requests for proposals, and create contracts in practice. The student is able to design a functional ticket sales process.

The student can analyze and assess the impact of site and venue arrangements on the overall success of an event, including logistical solutions and visitor experience. They are able to critically evaluate the selection of subcontractors, the drafting of requests for proposals, and contract content from the perspectives of responsibility, cost-efficiency, and quality. The student can design ticket sales processes that support the event’s objectives while considering technological and financial aspects.
