Objective
The student has a broad knowledge of camera equipment and knows how to use them appropriately. The student can make a shooting plan and execute it based on the plan. The student knows the basics of narrating with images, and planning of visual storytelling. They know the basics of composition and visual language. The student is familiar with lighting equipment and knows how to use it to implement different lighting solutions in shooting situations.
The student knows different professional functions in a production, can work in different professional roles in practical shooting projects, and can apply the skills learned in practice. They can critically evaluate their own and others' work in filming and lighting and give constructive feedback. The student can integrate the principles of sustainable production practices into filming situations, minimising environmental impact and resource consumption. They are familiar with risk management and can comply with safety regulations and practices in filming situations.
