Practice Workshop: LiveLaajuus (10 ECTS)

Objective

The student is able to design and implement a concept-based content package as part of a team. They can design and implement different types of content using a production method appropriate to the concept. They can vary technical realisation, narration and expression in fast-paced production situations. They can analyse and evaluate the impact of programmes on different audiences and distribution platforms. They can work in studio environments in different professional roles, and know the responsibilities of the different professional roles in the production. The student develops creative expression, taking into account the requirements of different types of content and platforms.

Content

- concept-based content package and its structure on different distribution platforms.
- design and implementation of edited, entertainment and factual content
- editorial and studio job descriptions and workflow
- development and implementation of multi-platform media concepts
- teamwork skills

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Students participate in class and project work in an approved manner and complete assignments satisfactorily. The student will be able to implement the content required by the concept in a satisfactory manner. They are able to act in a production situation in their professional role.

The student participates actively in class and project work and completes the tasks well. The student is able to implement the various contents required by the concept. They are able to vary technical realisation, narration and expression in fast-paced production situations. They are able to work in different professional roles in a production situation in cooperation with the production team.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student will actively participate in class and project work and complete assignments with distinction. The student is able to develop and implement different types of content required by the concept. They are able to vary technical realisation, narration and expression in fast-paced production situations in a creative and spontaneous way. They are able to work in different professional roles in a production situation, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
