Objective

· define the tasks, objectives and operational forms of early childhood education and care as well as the service system 
· recognise the significance of the basics of the early childhood education and care plan in the implementation of early childhood education and care and are able to interpret its contents  
· explain the concept of the child and have an understanding about the child’s learning in early childhood education and care
· interpret the contents of the pedagogical framework

Basics of the early childhood education and care plan, legislation, objectives and quality of early childhood education and care, societal significance of early childhood education and care, cooperation with guardians
early childhood education and care service system, the concept of a child in early childhood education and care, concept of learning pedagogical framework
