Objective
Upon completion of the course students are able to identify and explain the key trends and drivers shaping the smart industry and factories, including factors such as Industry 4.0 and sustainability demands. They also acquire a deep understanding of the current technological enablers of smart factories including IoT, AI, robotics, and data analytics. Additionally, the students are able to evaluate and propose innovative solutions for creating smart manufacturing systems. Topics are studied mainly in the form of a case study approach.

The student
