Objective

The student understands the communicative tasks and special features of various graphic products (posters and picture sequences). The student knows how to communicate with pictures and text and utilizes their combined effect.

Content

- identifying and using the two types of graphic design in communication
- ideation and problem solving skills
- mastering the publishing environment
- the use of typography in intermediating a message
- implementation of a web publishable file

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows how to communicate with pictures, text and their combined effect, and uses the tools they deem appropriate for this. The student knows how to use his graphic design skills in practice. The student completes all the tasks of the course on an accepted level.

The student knows how to use his graphic design skills in practice. The student completes all the tasks of the course on an accepted level. The student demonstrates the ability to utilize the provided teaching material in assignments.

The student knows how to communicate with an image, text and their combined effect in an interesting way and uses the tools they deem appropriate for this. The student knows how to apply his graphic design skills in practice. The student completes all the tasks of the study course successfully and competently. The student demonstrates the ability to utilize the provided teaching material in assignments, showing creative problem-solving ability. The student returns the assignments on time.
