Objective
The student can describe district heating at a general level, the structure of the district heating network and different options for producing heat in the district heating network. The student knows how to apply district heating regulations and instructions and dimension the building's district heating equipment. The student can describe the operation of a bioboiler plant and the related equipment.
Content
Carbon neutral energy system. Utilization of waste heat flows in the district heating network. District heating substations and boilers. Solar heat and heat storage. Demand response for district heating.
