- 3 ECTS
Objective
The students will know how to make an essential input, output, and some peripheral circuits for microcontrollers. In addition, the energy harvesting AC meter, which includes an energy harvesting circuit, a current measurement circuit, and a wireless microcontroller, is going to be introduced as an example of I/O circuits for microcontrollers.
After successfully studying this course, students will be able to:
1. Employ simple lumped circuit models for resistors, sources, capacitors, diodes, and transistors in circuits.
2. Design and analyze simple signal amplifiers and filters.
3. Design current amplifier made up of transistors.
4. Use the circuit simulator.
5. Construct simple filters, signal amplifiers, and current amplifiers in the laboratory.
6. Know the example of an energy-harvesting device.
7. Construct a Full-wave rectifier.
8. Use microcontrollers such as Arduino.
9. Design, build and test simple electronic systems.
